The Predator Pike rod is a 9' 10 weight, and features a long fighting butt for boatside figure eights and loads deeper into the blank than a standard 10 weight, which helps when casting huge air-resistant flies. There's not a lot of 10 weights that you can easily fish all day, but the Predator Pike is easy to cast and fish all day long! 4 piece, comes with a rod tube, and lifetime warranty.
The Redington i.D. 7/8/9 reel features a sealed drag, cast aluminum construction, and a large arbor design that holds lots of backing and bulky fly lines.
The Rio Pike/Musky Floating/Intermediate fly line features an aggressive front taper that casts big flies with ease, and the intermediate tip helps keep your flies in the strike zone. Comes with a RIO Toothy Critter leader as well, so you're ready to fish right out of the box!
This setup makes a great, affordable heavy duty saltwater setup as well - we recommend the Rio Permit Line or All Purpose Saltwater Line if you're headed to the salt.
