Tungsten San Juan Worm Tying Materials
Tungsten San Juan Worms are one of our favorite patterns, especially during higher water conditions. The weight of the tungsten bead helps get you down, and the two-toned body gets noticed by the fish. You can tie this fly in a number of color combos, but brown/pink, red/pink, and brown/orange are some of our favorites. I have yet to find anywhere that this fly doesn't work - tie up a few and give them a try!

- Hook: Daiichi 1120 or Tiemco 2457
- Bead: Tungsten Bead
- Thread: Ultra Thread 140 Denier
- Back Body: Ultra Chenille Worm Brown
- Rib: Red Ultra Wire
- Front Body: Ultra Chenille Orange or Red
