Continuing with the jig fly trend, the Yellow Spot Jig Nymph is one of our favorite patterns. This fly can be adapted to many different colors of 'hot spot' easily, but the yellow seems to do the trick quite well in the summertime. If you fish the Black Hills streams, this is a pattern I wouldn't be stuck without! 

Materials:

• Hook: Jig Hook size 10-16
• Bead: Slotted Tungsten Bead To match hook size black nickel or gold
• Thread: Veevus 10/0
• Tail: Coq de Leon
• Rib: Small Copper Ultra Wire
• Abdomen: Pheasant Tail Fibers
• Thorax: Yellow Ice or Prism Dub
• Hackle: Natural Cul de Canard aka CDC Feather
