Trout Spey is one of our favorite ways to fish bigger water, particularly from fall through spring. It's a fun way to cover lots of water, and is a nice change from nymph fishing.
Casting a two handed rod isn't difficult to learn, and is super fun once you figure it out. We mostly fish trout spey on the Bighorn and North Platte Rivers, but these flies will work anywhere you swing for trout with a two handed rod. Here's a few of our favorite trout spey flies!
