The dry fly fishing in the Black Hills and surrounding area continues to be spectacular, and has continued to build steam over the past few weeks! The fishing in town has been great, with some larger fish eating BWO’s and midges lately. Fish have been rising later that they were before, and have been looking up until 5 or 6 most days. Some productive flies have been Students, Low Water Baetis, Smoke Jumpers, CDC Thorax Duns, and Brook’s Sprout Emergers have been doing well lately.
