In Town – Fishing in town continues to be outstanding, with fish consistently rising more or less every day from about 10-2. The numbers of fish on top is off the wall, this is some of the most consistent dry fly fishing we’ve seen since last year. The fish like Klinkhammers, small 16-20 Parachute Adams, Morgans Midges, Black Parachutes, and F-Flies. In Town – Fishing in town continues to be very productive, with a few sporadic midge hatches during the warmest part of the day. Nymphing has been very productive, with most of the fish being in the deeper pools and runs. Try Tungsten San Juans, UV Czechs, Bloodworms, and big Tung Teasers for the lead flies, and smaller Bubble Backs, UV Midges, Hot Spots, Two Bit Hookers, small Pheasant Tails, Tungsten Psycho Nymphs, and Zebra Midges for the dropper fly for the best success. In Town – Nymphing has been the best producer in town lately, with larger nymphs. Size 12-14 Pink squirrels have been my best producer over the past several weeks, almost without exception. Any of the hot spot nymphs are producing good numbers of fish in town.
