Carp fishing season is here. I went on a carp fishing trip with local carp guru Sean Rains this past Sunday. Sean and I have chased carp together several times and both of us agreed this past Sunday was our most successful trip yet. The fish were in shallow and were very willing to eat a fly. Our best rig was a dry dropper with a Carl’s Cicada lead and a Pat’s Rubber Legs Dropper. We used the drag and drop method to put the fly in the fish’s feeding zone and it paid off! See some photos from Sunday’s outing below. If you are a carp veteran or a novice, it’s time to get out on the water chasing these awesome fish.
