A unique and very productive fly pattern from the vise of Dave Gamet. The 2 rpm Midge has taken many big fish from both streams and lakes. Dave has caught several very large fish with this pattern here in the Black Hills. This midge features the red Daiichi 1273 hook, purple thread, 2 red glass beads, and CDC; a unique collection of materials to be sure. Despite the numerous materials, the 2 RPM midge is easy to tie and is totally different than any other midge pattern in your box. Tie this pattern in sizes 14-20.
