EP Brush Home Invader Streamer Fly Tying Materials
This is our version of the popular Doug McKnight Home Invader streamer pattern. We have had incredible success with this pattern, and with the EP Brushes it's an extremely durable fly. The EP Home Invader is a fairly simple to tie pattern that catches some big fish - tie a couple up!
Materials Needed to Tie the EP Brush Home Invader Streamer
- Hook: Gamakatsu B10s size 2-6
- Thread: 140 Denier Ultra Thread or Veevus Power Thread
- Eyes: Lead Eyes- Hareline’s Double Pupil Eyes look great – For a non-toxic version try Hareline Pseudo Eyes
- Tail: Select Marabou Plumes or Blood quill Marabou
- Flash: 1/69 Lateral Scale, Krinkle Mirror Flash, or a mixture of Flashabou and Krystal Flash
- Body: Pearl Diamond Braid
- Head: EP Foxy Brush 3″ Wide
- Flash: 1/69 Lateral Scale, Krinkle Mirror Flash, or a mixture of Flashabou and Krystal Flash
- Wing: Whiting Bugger Hackle
